What is MicroBlading?
MicroBlading is considered to be semi- permanent tattooing for eyebrows.
Is it permanent?
MicroBlading is considered semi-permanent, the pigment is only deposited in the superficial layers of the dermis.
How does it work?
The technician takes a fine wired filaments (filaments bonded together) to create superficial hair like strokes; pigment is then deposited.
What is the process for MicroBlading ?
MicroBlading treatments are broken into two appointments; the initial appointment is a consultation and first application. During this appointment a medical history and consent form will be filled out and discussed. (Please review contradictions prior to booking a doctors note may be required) Before and after photos will be taken, eyebrow shaping will be done and colour of pigments are chosen. A topical anaesthetic is applied to the treated area to ensure comfort, once numbing is complete the pigment is then deposited.
The second appiontment is scheduled four to eight weeks from the initial appointment, after healing is complete. Its is very important to follow the home care routine. During the healing time it is normal to experience some pigment loss your skin may reject the pigment, corrections are then made and a few additional strokes can be added. (The second appointment is included in the initial cost).
Who can have MicroBladding?
Please be advised of the contradictions of MicroBlading and consult your physician if any applies to you a doctors note will be mandatory to proceed with treatment.
Is it Painful?
Microblading is considered to be slightly uncomfortable. A numbing solution is applied to help with any discomfort.
How long does the procedure take?
The first appointment can take up to 2 hours, this covers the consultation and treatment. The second appointment is a 30 mins - 1 hour, Please follow Home Care instructions for best results.
How long does it last?
Your eyebrows should last anywheres between 18-36 months untouched, as long as it is maintained.
How often will I need to get it done?
To keep the colour fresh and the hair strokes crisp, touch ups are recommended every six months to a year.
What if I don't like it?
A good technician will work with you until you are satisfied with your results; your eyebrows can be slightly modified, these treatments are semi-permanent, please ensure this treatment is for you. You are 100 % involved in the shaping of your eyebrows and the color of the pigment, we strive for natural looking eyebrows.

Please be advised of the following…
A symmetry assessment will be conducted in the initial treatment; the shaping of the eyebrow. MicroBlading will not correct asymmetries. The realistic goal is not to create perfect symmetry, but to make a moderate improvement to enhance the facial characteristics which are already present, following your natural eyebrow contour.
